ENC’s residence halls are guided by a staff of 22 Resident Assistants. These students are chosen from among their peers for their leadership, commitment to ENC, and most of all, their desire to serve their fellow students. Each year a new batch of Resident Assistants, or RAs, is carefully chosen by the Residential Life Staff. Applications are underway and we thought the potential RAs might like a little advice from this year’s experienced team!
With the spring semester now in full swing, many of our seniors are reminded that their time at ENC is coming to a close. You’ve probably noticed small plaques adorning some of the trees on ENC’s campus connecting the plant to ENC’s Babcock Arboretum. Since 1993, ENC’s collection of 75 varieties has been designated an official arboretum named for the colorful Professor J.Verner Babcock who taught botany at ENC from 1938 until 1978.
What is an arboretum? An arboretum is a botanical garden containing a collection of plants intended at least partly for scientific study.
